I'm guessing that Final Cut is actually reconstructing the music (signal), just as it has to to play it, and then samples that at 48 kHz before sending it to YouTube. 'm not even sure if FCP X will convert the audio from 44.1 to 48 at Export/Share even though the MetaData seems to indicate that it is. I tried, but couldn't find a way to do this.
