So yeah in conclusion as far as Final Fantasy X goes, the overall experience is pretty much the same on both PCSX2 and PS3/PS4. Like I said the new textures (and of course the new FMVs) and the new UI they made for the re-release are pretty good, but not good enough to justify spending $40-$50.
