I thought it might be related to the USB connection, so I unplugged the hard drive and plugged my Ipod in. The Ipod still works exactly like it's supposed to and has sound. Other things I've tried: -Performed the System Reset. -Formatted the hard drive and loaded some songs back on. -Reset several of the fuses that appeared to be linked to Sync.
