Hello Mark, I use the MD100 mic with my FT-950 and I get decent audio reports from that set up. I've also tried the MD200 but lots of people told me that me audio sounded more muffled, with the extensive audio settings available within the FT-950 you can tailor your audio and end up with decent sounding audio.
