1 Answer. Re: mp3 audio input jack on 2008 ford fusion. Use an audio patch cable, 3.5mm. You can get it at radioshack. I don't have my fusion yet (getting hybrid!), so I'm not surem but there should be a line-in, input or mp3 mode on the radio somewhere. Posted on Apr 23, 2009.

But my 2007 does not have that input. The dealership is constantly telling me it is just an "optional" option. That's not what I'm reading, according to Ford.
