Note with alsa-plugins[pulseaudio] you should not need .asoundrc anymore, please rename/move it for now. Let's check what you have: currently your pulseaudio default output is via onboard audio card SPDIF out. You can verify if alsa itself works: 'pasuspender -- speaker-test -D iec958:CARD=Intel,DEV=0 -t wav -c 2'
