I have a Gigabyte 780G MB and it seems certain recorded video causes the audio output to jump from the ATI HDMI ti the SPIDF. And I can't even get into the audio control panel once this happens. I plan on checking for updated realtek drivers tonight. But why does ATI not have all the correct drivers for its integrated hardware.

I'm having troubles in sound output over HDMI in Gigabyte AMD 780G Mainboard (ATI HD3200). I've recently installed OpenSuse 11.1, and HDMI cable is connected to my Receiver for audio and video output. I have enabled IEC958 of HDA ATI HDMI in Kmix.
