Jul 7, 2007. #7. To my knowledge, even a current aftermarket Dynaudio component set won't fit in a GTI (or any V-Dub, for that matter) without modifications. In a 3-way kit (like the new System 342), the bass drivers are 7" diameter (you have to fit these in 6.5" holes). The older models also had 7" bass drivers, I think.
