MacOS: Catalina 10.15.7. Audio Kext: VoodooHDA-OC. Built-in Speaker and mic works fine. In sound settings "Speaker (Analog)" changes to Headphones (Black Left) and I get audio through my headphones too (Apple's Earpods). The problem I'm facing is with the microphone, macOS does not recognise my headphone's mic but it works fine in Linux.

I recently built a rig with the parts as follows: Asus Z97-A Mobo. Intel i7 4790k. 8GB Corsair Ram. GTX 760 Video Card. Corsair 550 PSU. 128GB Samsung SSD. 1TB HDD. I put Yosemite on and everything worked great, except for the fact that the audio has a crackling/static noise constantly when doing anything audio related.
