I compared them with my Monitor Audio Silver 8i that i have as front speakers (BX 2 as back speakers),The BX2 sounds as open and warm as the 8i, the bass is deep for a small speaker not as deep as the 8i. Tried the BX2 also with a Rotel RA-930AX and Arcam Alpha 3. Alpha 3 delivered better sound, warm with great bass. Rotel was very dynamic, bassy but missed some details. A60 couldn't calm down that extra sssshhhhh of the BX2s. Replaced though the BX2s and i now i have the Tannoy Mercury V4 which are better for my taste of music.
