Ok, the problem appears to be that your audio renderer (Realtek High Definition Audio) is rejecting the audio stream from ffdshow, because it claims it does not support that format - and that is why it is not working for you (after Smart Play fails, it falls back to normal DirectShow mode, and that does not use ffdshow Audio Processor).
