DVI doesn't have any audio. It is the nature of the technology. The only way around is with an adapter or cable that injects the audio into the cable via rca or stereo 1/8" plug. Have you tried resetting the video / audio settings on the Xbox? If not try doing this. Turn off the console and restart it using the controller.
