The 2000.4's are about 30lbs each. In my experience (I've owned 2000.5, 2000.4, and 2000.1 models), they're very competent albeit unremarkable speakers. They sound best with some volume; at low listening levels they lose detail. They're not at all bass-heavy, even in the floorstanders and despite their port.

These speakers were virtually the same except for their bass capability. The savings between the price of the 2000.4's and 2000.6's bought the Velodyne CT-100 subwoofer. I think most people were getting the 2000.4's because it represented such a value. Unfortunately, the 2000.4 $450 tower class was eliminated in the next line.
