Hate to break it to you all, but the only pot Fender changed was the master volume pot which went from a 100K linear in the Hot Rod Deluxe to a 100K30A audio in the Hot Rod Deluxe III. The master volume has absolutely nothing to do with the clean channel. The clean volume and drive control are still 250K15A audio taper pots in both amps.
