Device manager is in 'Control Panel>System>Device Manager in XP. Look for a device with a yellow question mark that shows a driver not installed or not working. XP doesn't have a MPEG-2 codec installed, if that's your capture format. You can add a MPEG-2 player that will supply that codec or use Stinkys MPEG2 Codec.

JimE. The red/white RCA cables are the audio (left/right). The yellow RCA is the composite video input. So, assuming the device is outputting audio, I'd suspect a configuration issue or a faulty EasyCap. Part of the EasyCap setup should have been to configure the audio, or at least I would expect it to be.
