I have been working in my notebook for more than a month, i used manager device, recovery manager, add hardware, install, unistall. Nothing work for more than few hours, after that the sound go away. My notebook say NO AUDIO DEVICE ARE INSTALLED. I only have the software in the notebook. No disk support. I am tired to look for this.

SOLVED - I Fixed the problem, Go to Upper-Right Corner where you see those 3-Little-Dots, Click and Scroll down to "MORE TOOLS", Then Click EXTENSIONS section in pop-up next to it. Remove/Uninstall any "Audio Boosters" that you personally added AFTER you purchased it.

Re: No audio on HP DV9000 Found the issue, of course it was something simple. The jumper between the motherboard and headphone/mic mini-jack cluster was loose.
