Hi, I have a Humax PVR and reading your post did make me laugh, as I've not long had my Humax, and one evening I randomly had audio description on in eastenders lol, I was like, is it suposed to be like this!!!!! Anyway dont know how I had managed to turn it on, but I figured out by searching through the settings you can turn it off!.

On the Humax box remote the del key at the bottom right is also the key to turn on/off subtitles (i.e. S). The bottom left key with the large up arrow on it is then also the audio description (AD) on/off key. The Humax and Huawei remotes are different so these keys may not be on the Huawei remote or may be in different places.
