Identical problem, drivers up to date. The issue with IDT is that the Audio Control Panel is haywire. It ignores most input, and reverts what input it acknowledges at irregular, frequent intervals. The actual drivers in device manager seem fine, but the UI on the software seems to be the culprit.

In the Control Panel, in Hardware and Sound, there is an IDT Audio Control Panel. In that panel, I unchecked "Enable Power Management." I rebooted and the problem disappeared and has not returned.
