I too have IDT combined with an SRS premium sound mixer on the Windows 7 side of my dual boot and they simply don't make a Linux Driver. The last thing I can think of before I throw in the towel, is to open the Mint Update Manager program > Edit > Preferences > Levels tab. Add a check to the level 4 and 5 to "Visible" only and click the Apply button.
