I am running Windows 7 Home Premium with the IDT HD Audio Codec (v. 6.10.0.6217). After I restart my computer it does not play the shutdown sound, and plays nothing at all when it is completely restarted. I have to go into the "Advanced Audio Controls" of the sound card and click "test speakers" to get the sound started again.
