I dowloaded and tried several different versions of Primo 2.4, copied over the maps, poi, user profile, etc. from my existing system, and found one where the sound/voices work. This is the perfect road to disaster. You cannot copy blindly files from one system to the other, because of compatability problems.

In Primo even when I've turned off all the sounds, touching the screen will still cause the unit to turn down the volume of whatever is in the background (either MP3 or radio). Does primo handle the sounds differently somehow?

I found that Igo's sound runs through the system volume, so it was a case of patience and playing with these settings between the radio and system volume to get the balance right between the two. Also, if you have an option in the driving settings to mix or cut radio off, I found the mix works better.

Dont get me wrong here, the Advent is an awesome radio, and im not having any issues with the radio at all, my issue is with the igo software, and after talking to Advent and Walt at ADC mobile who was awesome to deal with, but they do not do any type of support issues with the igo software, and I understand that.but saying that if there is an issue and advent cant help …

I have tried so many changes in sys.txt to avoid any trouble with some configurations, but still problems with unstable GPS fix. Whereas on Igo 8.5, with the same maps, i have no problem with the same [gps] configuration.
