My test of the AVC versus the Sowter TVC - Intact Audio

As delivered with the 1x1 stacking the AVC had issues with the low end compared to the Sowter. After changing the stacking that got sorted out and now the bottom end has more punch and extension and overall there is more details than with the Sowter. While showing a bit more detail the AVC had a softer top end.

Pondered over AVC/TVC type volume controls for years. I couldn't afford commercial offerings, so it was just pondering... Dave Slagle (Intact Audio) came up with a 200 dollar AVC kit...more or less... I pondered on that over time, and was kinda shy to it because of the wiring involved.
