James, I got an answer that works. The 10.4 version of Desktop Video doesn't work with the Intensity Pro 4K. On the direction of Blackmagic I downloaded (from the Blackmagic web support site) and installed Desktop Video version 10.3.7 and everything is working fine. Audio capture in composite and component video is works fine.
