The Laptop has internal speakers/sound card. I though there was some conflict within them, and the M-AUDIO. I disable the internal sound card/ speakers, same issue. I found someone on the internet saying, that the internal sound card should be the default, not the M-AUDIO. Same crackling. Left the 2 and made the M-AUDIO default. Same crackling.
