TBH putting in long runs of wire that carry the audio signal seems wrong… a recipe for electrical interference and noise. Yet some folks swear they hear an improvement. At a minimum I would think you would want to twist pairs of wires where possible to avoid picking up noise. And use the best caps you can find (buy an extra one, just in case!).

I would just start over with a new logic board. I had not noticed a major power loss since I'm running a large 3000mah battery. I have not tried sending audio out the bottom port but I can not see where it would a problem. From start to finish with a few vape breaks in between took me about two hours to complete the capacitor mod.
