The JL Audio 10W3v2-D2 sub is so efficient for a 10" speaker, it clearly beats most 12" subs (except for JL Audio's own 12W7 of course). It's loud AND clear! If you're looking for volume AND clarity, the 10W3v2-D2 will not disappoint. I needed deep, clean, bass, and this sub delivers! What good is a super-dooper loud sub thats muddy.

Model Reviewed: 10w3v2-d4. Strength: sound,price, resale value, Weakness: wont handle more than about 300 real watts, but that is enough for most. Very nice sub for anyone who cares about quality bass. They are subs for adults, maybe not for those who care about turnin heads with their system outside the car.

Hi there. I wired a 4 channel amp to a DVC sub. The amp is an alpine mrp-f300 bridged at 150rms x 2ch (4ohm) and the sub is a JL 10W3V2-D4. Since each coil of the sub is 4 ohm, I figured it should work and it does! No one ever speaks of this, so I thought I'd post it. I'm using 2 y-adapters on the RCAs from the head unit.
