Until the JL stealth box, which still does not show up under JL's Canadian site, I was thinking about seeing if a base tube could be installed in or about the same area as where the stealth box goes. The base tube has a further benefit of being self powered which helps minimize my system, something that I want with this vehicle.

You could have a box made just like the stealth box and put an RE Audio SX10 in it and have a much better sub than JL can offer. I did that in my wifes Xterra, except I put the SX12 in there not the 10. Puts out too much bass for her liking when the output to the sub is set at +6. I also put the AVIC F90BT in her Xterra as well.
