Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2013 First of I will say this sub is nothing short of pure awesomeness! It doesn't sound like a 12 nor does it sound like a 13" sub, it sounds like 2 sealed compound 10's. Its wicked tight and kicks the crap out of you using a 500watt JL amp. I am blown away how loud this sub can get!

June 23, 2010. I was a little skeptical of how much bass a 2" thick sub could actually put out, but my 13TW5 is no joke. It puts out more bass than my 2 old Rockford 10's I had before it. I am running this sub off of a JL 500/1v2 and it hits hard and loud.

So in talking to Manville Smith of JL, my choices where narrowed to one 13W6 woofer or two 13TW5 woofers. We went the dual woofer route with a Phoenix Gold MS2125 bridged to each sub. (So roughly 200 watts per channel at 14 volts at 4 Ohms, resulting in between 500 and 700 or so watts to each sub.)
