Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2014 This Jolida FX10 amp is a good idea - get people interested in tubes at a significantly lower price than most other "entry level" vacuum tube-based amps. I won't comment on its sonic properties since others have already done that. I'll just say I like the way this amp sounds, too.

Driving a pair of Silverline Minuets in a desktop setup, the FX10 is a feast for the ears. With the NAD there is a lot more bass and perhaps a more even sound. However the FX10 gives me the 3D soundscape that tubes are known for. That sense that I can look into the music and see the instruments and most importantly the atmosphere.

I'm really enjoying the FX10 and the only thing that has bugged me was that the blue LEDs under all the tubes seemed incredibly bright, overwhelming the real glow of the tubes with an unnatural electric blue color and really lighting up the room.
