I did some tests with a 5.1 source upmixing it to 7.1 with Lav. Lav just moves the Back L/R channels to Side L/R. Disabled some of the options on LAV audio font panel, the ones related to surround sound, did not change anything. Also tried the options on the Mixing panel, still same. FFaudio does not move them at all.

Private: No. I'm playing an AAC 2.0-channel 44100 Hz file on a 7.1-channel 48000 Hz speaker layout. MPC Audio Renderer incorrectly outputs 7.1 channels and "upmixes" the audio. LAV Audio Decoder outputs only 2 channels, and the input to MPC Audio Renderer is also 2 channels. I've attached a screenshot of LAV Audio Decoder and MPC Audio Renderer.
