Problem solved The problem was all down to a DAC setting in the Arcam SA10 amplifier, nothing to do with the LG TV... Simply changed the PLL (Phase Locked Loop) default setting of NORMAL to WIDE and baam PROBLEM SOLVED. I nearly ordered a cheap FiiO DAC as a solution but now fully enjoying the LG TV with fantastic sound via Toslink!
