"Line input" is a physical input and there should be a jack (usually Blue color) for the "Line In". "Line In" is not for internet audio. However, many laptops do not have a separate "line in". Some only have "Mic" input and some have a combination Mic/Line IN jack. Check the Sound Panel/Recording Section to see if you have Stereo Mix.

The blue 3.5mm onboard Realtek HD Audio Input is the only Realtek input/output port in use. No microphone is plugged into either rear or front (pink) microphone input port. With this new "microphone" situation, any website browsed to can activate the microphone (which I don't have as stated). One site of note is Netflix.
