The LM3886 use quasi-complementary symetry outputs. Something that faded from use in the early 1970s in proper designs. The 'foldback' current limiters used causes extreme distortion and, if you don't like massive amounts of Global NFB (I don't) then you're plumb out of luck with the LM3886.
