Re: Audio Problems. Make sure the drivers are current, especially for the audio and video. Check the in-game audio setting. Open the Options window and select Audio. There is an option for "Sound Playback". Make sure it's set to the correct source (in case there's more than one sound card).

It's a common problem with Lotro, where the game will report "none" under Playback Devices. You don't have to delete/rename the preferences file; most of the time, restarting the game will fix it. You can tell if sound is working or not by the audio on the character select screen, so no need to log all the way in.

I've had some audio stuttering issues from time to time, but normally they resolve themselves after a couple of hours.
