When using the Lync Web App, we've noticed that some users do not appear to be able to use Audio / Video. After they have connected via the meet Lync, IE opens and connects to the page. They install (if not already done so) the Lync Web App plugin (all seems well) and then enter the conference. This is where it starts to get weird.

The options button was telling me I had no Audio device. I did and it works correctly. I'm using Win 7 and IE 11 but I also tried on Firefox and had the same issue. I noted that despite using the Lync App many times, when I joined the meeting the App was either missing or wanted to update and I let this happen. Any ideas what may be the issue here?

All of a sudden my lync 2013 x64 stopped recognizing my Audio device. If i go to settings=> audio devices i get a yellow box saying "We didn't find an audio device, which you need for calling. If you have one already, try checking Windows Device Manager to make sure it's installed and working."
