88sx I was looking for a midi controller to use live with my Motif ES rack. However, the feel of this ProKeys 88 keyboard was very uncomfortable. The keys felt like they were pushing back at your fingers. I sold it and the rack because I just couldn't get use to the keys' feel. I'm back playing my much heavier 76 Keys Motif ES.

The 88SX has 7 great voices, is lightweight, easy to use and well worth the price. However, it does not have keyboard splitting functionality, 14 voices, sound layering capabilities or some of the other features mentioned in the description on line. I suspect that someone combined the descriptions of the two differnet models.

The Prokeys 88SX was also used at the July 14, 2007 gig. You should be able to hear the acoustic piano, electric piano (both Rhodes and Wurly) and especially the B3 organ. Quality It tends to feel so light that you mistrust its quality, however, my first one (lasted 2 months before it was stolen) seemed rugged enough.

The feel of the keys is great. Like one user said, it almost feels like a hammer action piano. The sound is wonderful, very close to a piano's sound, not recorded-sounding like many of them. It's heavier and more solid than I expected it to be when I ordered it.
