Just picked up a pair of BX8a Deluxe Near Field Monitors and thought I would offer my first impressions. I have to congratulate M-audio on the spectral balance of these speakers with the exception of being too bright. No comparison to my old KRK's, or anything Behringer makes (lol). These are light years ahead for overall balance.

The M-Audio BX8A's are an incredible pair of monitors for the money. They are built like a tank! I've read several reviews where people say the high end is too much, but I surely don't hear it myself. They sound quite well balanced to me. My older mixes took on a whole new level of clarity. I played CD's through them and they sounded excellent.
