Is the power supply M-Audio's? If the voltage is correct, the 2.5 amp won't matter but its better to use the manufacturers unit if your not really sure. Did the original power supply die? If the blue light is flickering the Fastrack may have a problem. We did some pretty good recording with the Fastrack and still use it just as a Mic Pre Amp.
