You could check with M-Audio to get it repaired but it's probably about the same as buying a new one, plus the new one would have a warranty. Sorry Man. If you do buy a new one consider an Axiom Pro. I love mine.

Re: M-Audio Keystation 49e Issues. Thebugman, your Keystation 49 is not a playback device since it has no MIDI sound module, that is, no synth. It is an input device only, intended to control or trigger a softsynth or hardware synth. Look under Tools-Options on the Record tab and it should show up as an input device.
