I should describe my setup. I'm using a Lavry DA10 connected directly to the wall, and an M-Audio Audiophile USB feeding it from my laptop. The Audiophile USB comes with a 1000mA 9V power supply, but I bought it used, and the seller included a 3400mA 9V power supply, so that's what I'm using. This power supply is connected directly to the wall.
