I had massive issues with M-Audio 192|4 in Digital Performer. It was unusable there, with a similar error, and I actually had to buy a new interface to use with DP. M-Audio has a history of driver issues with their audio interfaces. I will never buy another. They also have practically no support.

I have been using an M-Audio O2 USB MIDI keyboard on Vista and then 7 for quite while. For some unexplained reason all of a sudden Windows thinks something else is using the MIDI port and the music programs I use all have errors to that effect (Reason 4.0, Record 1.0, Cakewalk Sonar, etc).
