The M Audio Ozonic is a pretty good midi controller, its one of the first ones that I had a chance to use. There are enough sliders that you can program all of your knobs in your digital audio workstation to them and be good too go.

Overall the Ozonic does deliver. Period. It works on Mac and XP. Cubase to Protools M-Powered LE. It's sounds good and offers a lot for a decent price. It is a true all in one mobile setup rig a laptop musician. You still have to keep in mind your stakes if this unit breaks on you. The baby and the bath water are tossed.

The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it only has one firewire port and M-Audio does a horrible job with technical support. It would be great if it had a second firewire port to hook up an external hard drive. They don't make them like this anymore, now M-Audio only makes usb midi controler/audio interfaces. Too bad!

The M audio Ozone is a very small and compact midi keyboard that will sync up with your program even if there isn’t a preset config for it, you can just use generic controller. It has plenty of knobs that you can assign to what you want to assign them to. The pitch and mod will are pretty good for such a cheap (price) keyboard.

The Ozone was basically an Oxygen8 with an audio interface shoved into it and many people did experience some problems (though I never had an issue with it); but the Ozonic is a dream! First its Firewire. Next, its the first M-Audio keyboard with aftertouch so the keys feel completely different than they do on the Ozone or Oxy8.
