ATH M40x VS Dt770 Pro I'm trying to get into hi-fi audio and after extensive research, these two headphones are the most reasonable for me. If I were to get the m40s I would definitely mod them (earcups, cable, etc.) whereas I probably wouldn't mod the dt770s so the price would probably be around the same.
