M-Audio offered a free upgrade code to get it working with their newer software (forget the name off hand) however that requires you to have the serial number from Torq, which is on the CD sleeve. My disc is long gone. So I called M-Audio support hoping I could give them the serial number of my xponent (which I purchased legitimately, first owner).

I just bought an old M-Audio Torq Exponent. I used to have one many years ago and loved it, found it really nice to mix on and liked the simplicity of Torq 1.5. Have not mixed in years so thought I'd buy this to mess around on. Problem is I now find out it only works with Windows XP and Vista. I use Windows 8.

Just a heads up to say that those with the M-audio Connectiv sound card hanging around. Traktor DJ works fine, Stereo Ouput from RCA output A on the back and monitoring via the headphones. What a treat. Needs to be independently powered through Power pack (9vDC) or USB Hub though. (and of course CCK)

The M-Audio Connectiv is a very good soundcard. It works great with Virtual DJ.. Before i bought the Connectiv, i had a maya 44 usb and got rid of it because i didnt like the sound quality. The M-Audio has a feature that all the sound cards dont have.
