I've purchased the M3N78-VM mobo with the hopes that HDMI sound would work. But I get no sound out of HDMI or S/PDIF. I'm running I'm running ram-minimyth-0.21.0-64-nvidia.180.22. I have a similar motherboard with audio via DVI, but when I was using my HDMI to DVI converter cable I needed a separate audio connector. To switch from analog audio + HDMI to digital via DVI all I had to do is change the MM settings to be like you have posted: MM_AUDIO_TYPE='digital' MM_AUDIO_CARD_NUMBER='0' MM_AUDIO_DEVICE_NUMBER='3'
