it only put's out about 3000,3200 at 14.5. it is a cirent hog, when I burp it, it drows about 400amp but a constant 300amp. you'll need atleast four 1000 crank amp battery's for each amp. I dally have each of my two HK4000d's pushing, four 15" ma audio XL's, THATS's 8 15's and about 6000 watts at 14.5volt,2ohm.

Oct 13, 2006. #2. the AB amps are rated at 17v, but from what i read they will do rated power. That amps gonna be less efficient than the hk4000d, however. and im not sure if it applies to the AB amps or not, but i know with the hk4000d, you need to run your remote wire to a relay, and run a 12v wire straight from your battery to the amp. bigt.
