Model Reviewed: HK4000D. Strength: you can wire as many sub's as you wont to, on this amp. I have tried wiring all 8 sub's to one amp, and did a 150.2, that just one amp. Weakness: it only put's out about 3000,3200 at 14.5. it is a cirent hog, when I burp it, it drows about 400amp but a constant 300amp.

I love how these rumors get started that something is a bad brand and that it should be avoided. MA audio is not DD or US Amps, but they still make decent products.

That amps gonna be less efficient than the hk4000d, however. and im not sure if it applies to the AB amps or not, but i know with the hk4000d, you need to run your remote wire to a relay, and run a 12v wire straight from your battery to the amp. bigt.
