I agree. I've never used the line-in for anything serious on my notebooks. I did, however, buy the white Macbook when the 13" alu-macbook was launched because it lacked Firewire, which is sort of standard for pro-audio gear. Nice to see that there's FW 800 in the new 13" MBP.
