He is talking DVI not HDMI - 2 completely different inputs to the TV/Monitor. PC audio input plays only when in RGB/PC mode only. (works that way on my LCD monitor anyways) Audio into (TV/Monitor) should have seperate setting each mode used. HDMI input uses HDMI sound settings - VGA./DVI/RGB(not RCA) input uses PC sound input settings only.
