Ideally you need to listen to them. From recent auditions I did I was surprised. I demo'd a 6000, an M2si and a Marantz (ok, so it was the 8006). Overall the Marantz was the best with the speakers I was trying (B&W 705 S2 as they are closest to my CM6 S2s).
